My experience of Pittsburgh has been the interaction I've had with the people, I form most of my impressions from the environment overall. The environment is made up of many things, the architecture and the nature around us play a major role to form our impressions, and ultimately the experiences we go through.
In an effort to honor this, I decided to pay tribute and shift the point of focus from the people to the natural environment, the landscapes, and how they contrast with the architecture. In a way, I am still honoring the people through the beautiful city. This is also a painting for those who love beautiful skyline views illuminated by golden summer sunsets.
